Declaration
The complete declaration is signed digitally through separate authorizations by the Möbelfakta declarant and the company's CEO. (Only in swedish)
The English Declaration Form must be printed and signed by the Möbelfakta declarant and CEO.

Certificate and publication
Declaring companies can download certificates through the e-declaration. For English declarants, certificates can be sent.
Approved products are published at www.mobelfakta.se.

How to apply for Möbelfakta.

Deklaration and audit at Möbelfakta

Möbelfakta means self-declaration of products by a trained declarant at the company. To be able to declare products yourself, the company must have declared a first product with an approved on-site audit. Random sample checks take place continuously every 2.5 years or if necessary at all declaring companies. Checks refer to all requirements.

Approval is subject to the condition that the product meets the applicable requirements.

If Möbelfakta changes the requirement specification, the licensee is obliged to adapt declared products within the announced transition period in order for the certificate to be valid.

To declare products
A furniture declaration must deal with one of the company's products that it produces itself. The furniture declaration can refer to different variants of the product, e.g. with or without options such as armrests, headrests, several different sizes or other variations of the same product.

The declarant prepares a furniture declaration digitally through the e-declaration* for the individual products and thereby certifies that it meets Möbelfakta's requirement specification. The login details for the e-declaration only apply to registered declarants and are personal.

The furniture declaration is sent to Möbelfakta, which decides whether the declaration can be approved. Feedback takes place either to request additional information or with notification of approval. Provided that the respective declaration is correct and no additions are required, the aim is for approval to take place within 5 working days.

After approval of the furniture declaration, the product is published on www.mobelfakta.se and the certificate can be downloaded by the company.

The first time you declare a piece of furniture
When declaring the first piece of furniture, an audit must be carried out at the company.

The audit is a prerequisite to be able to obtain the label and to be able to declare more products. If you are about to make your first declaration, you can contact Möbelfakta to plan the audit so that you can get your marking as soon as possible.

In the event of an audit, the company must present comprehensive documentation that proves that the criteria in Möbelfakta's requirements are followed. Full transparency is expected from the company regarding how the content of the requirement specification is complied with. Control of compliance is carried out at both the company and its suppliers. In the event that a company or its supplier violates the requirements, corrective action must be taken. A corrective measure means that a furniture manufacturer ensures that its own company, or the supplier, corrects the deviation as quickly as possible.

Certificate and publication
Declaring companies can download certificates through the e-declaration. Certificates can be sent for English declarants.
Approved products are published on www.mobelfakta.se.

Deviations from the requirements
In the event of serious or extensive deviations from current requirements, Möbelfakta can choose to put the affiliated company in quarantine, which means that all products are depublished from www.mobelfakta.se until the deviations are rectified.
